The role you’ll contribute: 

 Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs CT radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to perform CT procedures and appropriate protocols for diagnosis; to include Interventional Radiology procedures with CT guidance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.  Technologist may still be required to assist in X-ray in addition to CT to meet department needs.  Obtain ARRT(CT) credential within 12 months of starting this role and then transition to the appropriate CT Tech job description/role.

·  Rotates on-call status.
·  Contacts vendor service engineer for assistance when system problem arises.
·  Performs other related duties as required and deemed necessary per Radiology Director/Manager to include Radiology Technologist duties to include general x-ray and surgical x-ray imaging as needed.
·  Follows 'Standard of Behavior' guidelines per hospital policy.
·  Maintains ethical relationships and cooperates with all personnel in proper conduct of department

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:  

·  Associate’s degree or Graduate of a Technical School
·  American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT)
·  Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
