WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Gynecologic Oncology Physician Assistant preferably with 2+ years of experience to join our team at Franciscan Physician Network Gynecologic Oncology Specialists located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our Gynecologic Oncology group specializes in treatment of pelvic cancer originating in the vulva, cervix, uterus, and ovaries. Interested candidate will be joining an established, busy practice.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in surgery and inpatient care as a Physician Assistant, with focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Provider will assist comprehensively in all aspects of inpatient and outpatient care including surgery, acute and long-term surveillance office visits.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Full-time schedule (4.5 days/week): Time will be split between clinic, inpatient rounding, and surgery
- Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 2-3 days per week
- Surgical schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 2 - 3 days per week
- Weekend call rotation: 1:6
- Weekend call hours: Friday 5:00 p.m. - Monday 8:00 a.m.
- Average outpatient volume: 8 to 10 patients per day
- Average inpatient volume: 2-4 patients per day
- Average surgical volume: 3 surgical cases per surgical day
