The Audrey Hepburn Children's House (AHCH) is seeking a Part-Time CHEC Physical Examiner to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of children in need.
In this role, you will:
Conduct comprehensive CHEC (Child Health Evaluation and Care) physical examinations on children entering foster care.
Collaborate with our Psychology team to provide a holistic assessment of each child's physical and mental health needs.
Work closely with social workers and other professionals to ensure children receive the necessary care and support.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Stay up-to-date on the latest child health and welfare regulations and best practices.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds an MD/DO degree.
Has completed an ACGME accredited pediatric residency.
Is a board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician.
Has a strong understanding of child development and health issues.
Is compassionate and patient with children, especially those who have experienced trauma.
Is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is organized and detail-oriented.
