About Us: Mountains Women's Center, established in 2023 by Dr. Amber Glenn, is a gynecology-only private practice dedicated to the healing and empowerment of women in the metro-Atlanta area. We provide comprehensive care for various women's health concerns, including abnormal bleeding, fibroids, hormone replacement therapy, contraception consultation, PCOS, ovarian cysts, infertility care, annual exams, and management of anxiety and depression. Our practice serves a diverse patient population, with a significant focus on Hispanic and African-American communities.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Dr. Glenn and our dedicated staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered gynecological care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a practice committed to patient education and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive gynecological exams, including preventive care and well-woman visits.
Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, menopause, PCOS, and ovarian cysts.
Provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services, including medication, IUD, Nexplanon, and surgical options.
Perform in-office procedures, such as IUD insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies, colposcopy, and LEEP procedures.
Offer patient education and counseling tailored to cultural and linguistic needs.
Collaborate with Dr. Glenn and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Stay current with evidence-based practices and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia.
Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) with gynecology experience.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in gynecology or women's health preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on cultural competence.
