The Registered Nurse - Float Pool will perform all aspects of direct patient care to include assessment, planning, evaluation and documentation. RN's will provide direct care based on the plan of care and established priorities. RN's will evaluate and document the patient and family response to nursing interventions related to the stated goals and the overall effectiveness of the care plan.
Qualifications
Current Texas license with minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience BLS (must obtain within 30 days from hire date) and ACLS are required (there is a 90 day window for completion of ACLS) Handle with Care PALS or ENPC depending on area worked TNCC may be required depending on the departments in which you work. The RN will be required to be scheduled to work a minimum of 10 -- 12 hour shifts per 6 week schedule, 4 of which must be on the weekend. No guaranteed number of hours will be offered. RN's will be scheduled for at least 2 holidays a year. RN's must be qualified to accept assignments in at least 3 areas of the hospital, one of which must be MedSurg and one must be ICU or ED
