Ascension St Vincent/ Heart Center of Indiana is actively recruiting a BC/BE adult cardiac anesthesiologist for a practice in Carmel / Indianapolis, Indiana. A 100% cardiothoracic practice in the Midwest! Our practice growth is due to service line expansion, and the opening of new OR’s.
We provide a broad range of anesthetic care to the cardiac, thoracic and EP services at two suburban hospitals. Our clinical case variety is wide: a broad range of valve cases, major aortic cases (dissections, aneurysms/arch, TEVARs), structural heart (Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip, tricuspid clip/Triscend), CABG, robotic thoracic, and a busy EP service. In addition, there is a growing transplant / LVAD surgical heart failure program. Total case volume is robust - exceeding 1300 open hearts / year.
Call is taken from home with post call off.
Preferred candidates are fellowship trained and are at least testamurs of the NBE/APTE exam.
