POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking an Emergency Radiologist to fill an onsite evening to overnight position working alongside an award-winning group of emergency room physicians at an urban Level 1 trauma center. This primary location has a high admit rate (33%) from an elevated level of acuity with over 55,000 adult and 19,000 pediatric ED visits per year. It is a primary referral site for 17 affiliated hospitals within a catchment of 2.3M people from northern Indiana. The candidate would need effective communication skills and would work closely with ED physicians with emphasis on building collaborative care pathways and improving the patient's experience. Additional responsibilities include interacting with the hospital's trauma team and periodically presenting trauma cases at multidisciplinary conferences.
Candidates would be expected to work 7 nights on duty and 14 days off, or optionally including a 5-day evening shift. Primary responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to, diagnostic interpretation of imaging performed through the emergency department and urgent inpatient imaging primarily covering CT, MR, and US, as well as clinical supervision of residents.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program
Specialty training in Emergency Radiology or Neuroradiology preferred.
Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
Licensed or has the ability to obtain a license in the state of Indiana
