Job Description

Assistant Manager, Rehabilitation - Inpatient Acute Care

A captivating chance is waiting for you at MSK. We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Rehabilitation for our Inpatient Acute Care setting at Memorial Hospital in NYC. If you are a NYS licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with clinical and supervisory experience in acute care, we are looking for you to join our growing team! Our Center offer the highest standards of comprehensive cancer care in an environment designed to meet the unique needs of cancer patients and their families.

Role Overview:

• Partner and assist the Manager on initiatives that plan and align clinical programming and operations around the Center and Department mission and goals within Rehabilitation.
• Assist in the management and supervision of therapy supervisors and staff to ensure optimal functioning of operations.
• Assist in oversight and development of clinical programs/projects/operations necessary for the smooth functioning of the department.
• Ensure the provision of quality physical and occupational therapy services from pediatrics to adults.
• Provides patient care and managerial support as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• New York State Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy License.
• 5+ years of discipline-specific clinical experience along with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Acute care experience is essential. Oncology, outpatient setting, and lymphedema experience are strongly preferred.

Additional Information:

• Location: MSK's Main Campus Hospital, 1275 York Avenue, in NYC.
• Schedule: Hours vary between 7a-7p Mon-Fri & 7:30a-6p on weekends (subject to change). Note: This position will have a weekend component which will be determined.
• Reporting to the Manager, Rehabilitation - Inpatient Acute Care
