In this principal-level hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, you'll champion the integration of design thinking and human-centered focus into our core strategic vision setting and planning processes, collaborating closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams. Your expertise in developing and facilitating collaboration across a complex organization will illuminate the path for developing and implementing design strategies that significantly enhance our healthcare solutions, ensuring they're both technologically advanced and deeply human-centered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Leadership in Design Strategy Workshops:
Craft and conduct dynamic workshops with our executive leaders, sharing your deep knowledge of design thinking and human-centered design to uncover innovative opportunities.
Communicate strategic recommendations and use influence to gain support from leadership and drive alignment within the organization.
Cross-Functional Design Projects:
Lead the charge in planning and executing comprehensive design projects, working hand in hand with peer design leads and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that advance healthcare technology and services.
Be a thought partner to CX Director and other key leaders as they unlock the full potential of their journey or function. Provide advice or suggestions for improvements that meet customer experience objectives.
Collaborate closely with our User Research, Service Design, and UX Strategy teams to form initial hypotheses, prepare and review recommendations, process/system maps, data analysis, and research findings to inform business opportunities.
Training and Development: Elevate our Customer Experience team's capabilities through targeted training programs, embedding design strategy and design thinking principles and processes into our organizational DNA.
Stakeholder Management:
Navigate the complexities of a diverse leadership team masterfully, building and maintaining robust relationships that support a collaborative and innovative project environment.
Identify and lead the resolution of dependencies, risks, and roadblocks by providing direction and guidance to cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
Challenge the business to drive for an innovative concept; "think out of the box" and ensure best in class solutions.
