Your visionary leadership will drive the development of an integrated gastroenterology program across our 24-hospital network, ensuring seamless patient care and collaboration.
Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will mentor the next generation of gastroenterologists through our robust Gastroenterology Fellowship, Advanced GI Fellowship, and resident/medical student education programs.
With state-of-the-art facilities, including a innovative endoscopy center, you'll have the resources to deliver exceptional patient care and advance your academic pursuits.

The Ideal Candidate Profile:
Fellowship trained and Board certified in Gastroenterology.
Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, education, and research appropriate for the appointment of Associate Professor level or higher.
Expertise in Hepatology preferred.
An accomplished physician and leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and maintain a collegial and highly productive culture with a commitment to team development.
Passion for advancing patient care through innovation.

Minimum Education, Certification, Licensure, and Experience:
MD, MD/PhD or DO degree from an accredited medical school (employer accept foreign educational equivalent).
Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship.
Certified by a board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association in Gastroenterology.
Hold or able to obtain medical licensure in the State of West Virginia by start date.
Demonstrated experience with established evidence of achievements in clinical care, education, and research.
