Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Orlando Health is seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join four full-time cardiac surgeons at the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. The ideal candidate would have at least 5-10 years of experience and a broad-based background in the field of cardiac surgery. A strong commitment to quality outcomes, patient care, communication, and teamwork, along with the ability to successfully navigate through the complex field of Cardiac Surgery is critical for this position.
The Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute is a collaborative effort between cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons to provide the highest level of healthcare for their patients. We are a tertiary cardiovascular surgery program providing care to the Orlando Health system with a surgical volume over 1200 cases per year. We are recognized for being a 3-star STS program in coronary artery bypass grafting and valvular surgery. Our spectrum of cases includes complex valvular disease, coronary vascularization, complex aortic surgery, structural heart therapies, arrhythmia, and adult congenital surgery.
