About the opportunity:Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network and infrastructure systems. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our network and infrastructure components.What you will do:Design, plan, and implement scalable and reliable network architecture.Evaluate and recommend networking technologies and solutions to meet business requirements.Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.Work to improve and implement backup and restore strategies as well as disaster recovery.Design and deploy virtualization technologies for server and storage environments.Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and enforce security best practices for network and infrastructure components.Monitor and analyze network and infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can handle current and future growth.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network and infrastructure configurations.Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff on new technologies and best practices.Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to understand and address their requirements.Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational ValuesPerform other duties as assigned.
