As theMRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imagingprocedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require anin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a highdegree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. Youwill also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properlyscreen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.You will:

• ·        Ensure accurate processing ofradiology orders
• ·        Maintain accurate up-to-date recordsof procedures performed
• ·        Operate a variety ofpost-processing/3D workstations
• ·        Perform accurate image archival
• ·        Prepare and administer paramagneticcontrast media
• ·        Sensitively handle physical andemotional needs of the patient
