Required:

• Ability to lift 50 pound and to push 200-300 pound cage racks of animals.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing, accuratelyand timely
• Basic computer knowledge and skills to complete online training sessions
• Knowledge of and ability to accurately follow all SOPs, WorkingInstructions, Forms, Training Checklists associated with the cage wash area
• Ability to participate in weekend/Holiday work rotations and occasionalovertime duties

Preferred, training will be provided:

• Working knowledge of cage wash equipment included but not limited to rackand tunnel washers, bedding dispenses, bedding vacuums, water filling stations,and sterilizers
• Knowledge of safety practices in the cage wash are including but notlimited to ergonomics, thermal and allergy risks.
• Knowledge of all the cage wash areas and the equipment in each of them,sufficient to organize, sort and process soiled items, and pack clean equipmentin an efficient and safe manner.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing materials and techniques sufficientto maintain a healthful environment.
• Ability to maintain records following proper documentation practices
