Job Description

Research Charge Analyst

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Research Charge Analyst in Clinical Research Finance. We're looking for dynamic research professional eager to make a meaningful impact in research billing and compliance.

Role Overview:

* Review charges in Epic associated with research patient encounters to ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Review research protocols, interpret billing guidelines, accurately categorize charges within the Epic system to maintain financial integrity.

* Participate in compliance efforts through auditing, training, and staying updated on regulatory changes, mitigating risks in research billing operations.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize research billing review.

Key Qualifications:

* 4-7 years experience in charge review, clinical trials, research billing, revenue cycle management, hospital and physician billing, Medicare coverage analysis, and/or Epic.

Core Skills:

* Effective communication

* Attention to detail to monitor and maintain compliance

* Ability to use sound judgement and evidence-backed decision making

* Technical proficiency in research billing systems

* Deep understanding of clinical research protocols, budgets, contracts, Medicare coverage analysis, and/or hospital and physician billing

Additional Information:

* Location: Remote

* Schedule: Monday through Friday

* Reporting to the Manager, Research Charge Analysis

Pay Range: $73,900.00 - $114,400.00
