About the opportunity:The Network Engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring daily operations to maintain high-availability network environment for a 24/7/265 rural hospital. Some of these duties include scheduling and performing maintenance events, patching, upgrades and system backups.What you will do:Troubleshoot and address network performance issues including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN and Wifi for 15 locations.Help manage and maintain Vail Health's Active Directory.Help manage and support the PBX and Call Manager systems.Act as escalation point for other IT staff to help resolve computer and network issues.Conduct scheduled maintenance and enhancements to the network platform.Create and maintain network support documentation.Provide 24 x 7 production support on a rotating basis.Provide onsite support when needed. Approximately 20% of schedule.Role models the principles of a Just Culture.Perform other duties as assigned.
