The Radiology Technologist Trainee Program is for those who are:

• 3-6 months away from graduation
• Can commit to a minimum of six shifts, every six weeks
• Have an active BLS
• In good standing in a JCERT certified program
• Hold an active WA state Radiologic Technician license

Program Compensation:

• This is a per diem position, non-benefit eligible.

Program costs:

• MultiCare DOES NOT cover program costs, CPR certification, testing, or license fees.

Employment:

• If offered a position into the program, you will be a per diem employee of MultiCare. Upon obtaining licensure, the participant will apply to their desired location for placement into a full-time position.

Requirement:

• Two letters of recommendation will be required. One letter of recommendation must come from a MultiCare employee and a second letter of recommendation from a person of your choice.

Tuition assistance:

• If accepted into the program, the program participant would be eligible for a $2,500 tuition assistance stipend to assist in successfully completing their program.

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will perform general radiography imaging studies under the supervision of the Chief Technologist and Director of Imaging Services
• You will follow policies and procedures as you provide patient care activities and any related non-professional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients and families
• You will recognize and report patient needs to create a safe and comfortable patient care environment

Requirements

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
• Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
• MA-P is required for Maple Valley Rad Techs who perform Phlebotomy
