RADARS ContractJob Summary
Under general supervision performs a variety of activities within the research department. Activities primarily support post-market drug safety and surveillance, public health, and epidemiological studies. Position may involve management of project(s) or portions of projects. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert.
Essential Functions:
Serves as the subject matter expert for assigned projects/programs. (10%)
Trains other staff on area(s) of expertise. (5%)
Operationalizes research tasks. (5%)
Manages small-scale projects and/or contribute to the management of large projects. (5%)
Initiates troubleshooting and problem solving of project management issues in areas of expertise. (5%)
Manages data collection processes. (5%)
Develops literature searches including search terms, summary tools and process for summarization and reporting. (5%)
Summarizes literature for internal reference purposes and for external deliverables. (5%)
Assists in the development and management of research protocols and procedures. (5%)
Initiates and prepares submission of IRB, FDA, and sponsor documents and reports. (5%)
Manages development and review of reports and other deliverables. (5%)
Leads the formatting of publications for submission per journal requirements. (5%)
Assists in the translation of scientific results in the form of abstracts, papers, and presentations. (5%)
Effectively communicates and collaborates with site partners and internally across departments. (5%)
Develops and manages work instructions and contribute to SOPs. (5%)
Supports communication with clients, including contributing to proposals, and managing client relations. (5%)
Prioritizes multiple tasks according to daily, weekly, quarterly, or annual deadlines. (5%)
Supports the monitoring of budget and grant administration activities. (5%)
Facilitates project and team meetings. (5%)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Work Experience:
1-3 years related experience Required

Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
High attention to detail and ability to contribute to multiple projects effectively and independently.
Ability to demonstrate excellent work with minimal supervision.
Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, apply research methods, and conduct general research.
Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft produce suite.
Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs in addition to other Microsoft Office products.
