The successful applicant will join a dynamic section of 6 dedicated Neuroradiologists in a department of 48 Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists, with 22 Radiology Residents and 2 fellows. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, an interest in Resident teaching, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and a strong interest in continuous practice improvement. Experienced professionals with leadership experience or interest are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be ABR eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology, have plans to complete a Neuroradiology fellowship, and hold (or be scheduled to hold) a CAQ in Neuroradiology. They should be up-to-date on current Neuroimaging practices to engage with Neurology, Neurosurgery and Interventional Neuroradiology colleagues, and be willing to actively engage in Peer Learning. They can expect to join a collegial group that encourages interests in research, teaching and administration while maintaining an important work life balance.
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a 335 bed tertiary care facility ambulatory care center with a Level I Trauma Center, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center, which serves as a teaching hospital for University of Massachusetts Medical School. In addition, many of our physicians hold faculty appointments at Tufts University Medical School, Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine. Lahey maintains residency and fellowship programs for more than 170 physicians-in-training in many subspecialties.
