The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-timeLCSW to join the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. The clinic provides behavioraltreatments for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary duties include:
- Running therapy sessions usingcognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and providing assessment andtreatment
- Reviewing intake notes, initial self-reportquestionnaires, sleep diary, and other relevant documents for formulating andevaluating individual case
- Communicating with patients regarding clinicaland administrative issues
- Other clinical duties as assigned
Please note this is an 11 month limited position that may convert to career.
Salary: $51.94/hr - $62.08/hr
Master's degree in Social Work
Valid CA Clinical Social Worker License
Knowledge and experience working with insomnia patients
Previous experience with CBT-I
Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mailsystems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records
Ability to work and practice professional relationships withother therapists, medical professionals, and patients
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally andin writing)
