About the Role:
Job Summary
Treasury Senior Analyst is responsible for oversight of daily activities for cash posting, cash flow forecasting and treasury reporting and analysis. This role has responsibility for the execution of capital management activities, including debt issuances, credit revolver renewals, swaps and related collateral agreements. Maintains a system of policies and procedures that impose and robust an adequate level of control over treasury activities.

Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum Experience: Seven years of progressively responsible Treasury related experience

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordinates, manages, and participates in the monthly and year-end closing process for all Treasury transactions and accounts, support interim and year end audit as appropriate.
Responsible for roll-forward schedules and applicable supporting schedules.
Keeps abreast of and monitors developments of newly issued Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and advises the accounting manager and controller of potential impact to the organization.
Implements and maintains LEAN Treasury Accounting policies and procedures, with a focus on reduced manual dependencies and stronger internal controls.
Develops and maintains key performance indicators to track and evaluate treasury operations effectiveness.
Acts as treasury's liaison to financial reporting team and operators throughout the organization, coordinates with organizational leadership and outside third parties such as financial advisors, bond counsel, and banking representatives as appropriate.
Responsible for maintaining treasury related balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring reconciling differences are resolved and addressed in a timely manner. Scope of focus mainly on cash, investment and debt accounts.
Reviews procedures and processes related to treasury operations to achieve efficient cash concentration and reporting. Executes cash balancing audits, coordinates and oversees periodic location audits of petty cash audits.
Reviews and analyzes bank fees and maintains bank account documentation. Ensures efficient use of banking and investment services.
Forecasts weekly cash position to ensure adequate cash supplies are available. Coordinates with investment advisor to address operating cash shortages and excesses on a timely basis; ensures proper liquidity to match operating cash needs.
Acts as program administrator for the corporate credit card program, ensuring compliance with related policies and procedures.
Performs banking operations including wire, ACH and intercompany transfers. Initiates wire and ACH transfers, posts stop payments and manages bank inquires. Review and approves banking exceptions as appropriate.
Monitors third party activities handling outsourced treasury functions.
Supports Debt Rating reviews, provides requested information, ensuring completeness and accuracy of related information.
Develops and maintains disclosure documents for General Debt refunding and new issuances; ensures information is disclosed and updated prior to board adoption.
Reviews debt payments and arbitrage calculations; submits rebate payments to the IRS as applicable.
Helps ensure compliance with numerous debt covenants; maintains debt service schedule and bond related compliance reporting.
Prepares all disclosure documents for debt; compiles and manages centralized information repository for debt-related information.
Ensures that tax-exempt status of pertinent debt issuance are preserved.
Prepares monthly investment reconciliations and roll forward schedules. Reconcile cash and security positions in investment portfolio, research and correct discrepancies as needed.
Oversees escheat process and ensure compliance with state guidelines.
Demonstrates strong reporting skills including monthly analysis, budgetary reporting and support, and adhoc reporting as needed.
