Orlando Health is seeking aBE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our Ambulatory Anesthesiology teamfor our multispecialty ASCs. Join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers in delivering exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while being a catalyst to expand the organization's mission and achieve its vision. The case mix ranges from Colorectal, GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, Adult & Peds ENT, Urology, Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Ortho etc.
Essential Functions
Collaborative member of anesthesiology department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals
Evaluate and formulate anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care
Supervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia
Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia needed
Other Related Functions
Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLY
No Call, nights, weekends or holidays.
Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
Attends and participates in departmental meetings and educational initiatives
Teach student anesthetists, residents, fellows or other learners
Role Requirements
Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
Must hold or be able to obtain active Florida medical license prior to start
