eeking a clinical neurologist with expertise in cognitive and behavioral neurology and memory disorders to join the Center for Healthy Aging, Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate should have completed fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology/Dementia, with a strong interest in Women's health. It is important to have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to be successful in this position. The role is part of an innovative and collaborative multidisciplinary team including cognitive neurologists, neuropsychologists, APPs, social workers, nutritionist/health coaches and care coordinators. The Swedish Neuroscience Institute (SNI) has a large regional presence with 5 campuses across the Puget Sound. In this position, there are opportunities to work with several other subspecialists at SNI and to expand Brain Health Programs and Women's Health, along with our other subspecialty programs. In addition, with Swedish's large primary care network and geriatrics programs, there are opportunities to partner with these groups. On a larger scale, Swedish, as part of Providence Health, is developing standards for dementia care across a multi-state region. Hence, the provider in this role will have opportunities to impact dementia care on a much larger scale.
Utilize the latest tools to diagnose the stages of memory loss and dementia, including PET imaging, genetic testing, EEG, neuropsychology, and cerebrospinal fluid analysis.

Participate in robust clinical trials across the spectrum of cognitive decline.

Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency program.
Must have completed a Behavioral or Geriatric Neurology fellowship program with Eligibility/Certification by UCNS in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry
Compensation is between $260,686 and $382,015 per year
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
