The role you’ll contribute:
As a critical member of the Learning team, the Manager, Clinical Learning Programs will partner with the AdventHealth Clinical team to develop and implement learning and development programs specific to clinicians: nurses, physicians, and other providers. He or she will lead the effort to assess the system-wide need, develop a long-term plan for, and coordinate a comprehensive clinical learning and development program.

- Drives the planning and execution of multi-level clinician and provider learning and development programs
- Manages curriculum by conducting needs assessments, program evaluation, and align with organizational needs.
- Prepares and delivers facilitation of leadership development programming and experiential development plans.
- Design and deliver a broad range of learning solutions directly and/or with vendors
- Collaborate with key departments and across the divisions to develop a long-term strategy for healthcare leadership program development
- Manage relationships with system-wide network of stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate regularly to keep all leadership development initiatives aligned.
- Partners with other members of the Learning team and provides linkages with other initiatives.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Master's degree in Nursing with experience in education and professional development OR a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related field, OR a Bachelor’s degree and five years experience
- Five years of progressive experience in clinical roles and/or an organizational development related field, with emphasis on learning activities
- Three to five years of progressive responsibilities and experience holding leadership positions in Education and Clinical areas
- Knowledge of clinical processes and ability to apply knowledge to develop professional clinical leadership
- Certificate in at least one recognized assessment tool (i.e. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC Behavioral Assessment, etc.); OR
- Certification/Certificate in one or more of the following:
o Project Management
o Change Management
o Instructional Design
o Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
- Certification or academically qualified to use assessment tools
- Certification as a leadership coach
- Curriculum design and/or facilitation certification
