Job Summary:
The Critical Illness, Brain Dysfunction, and Survivorship (CIBS) Center is an interprofessional research team dedicated to improving the lives of patients and survivors of critical illness and injury, including COVID, delirium, dementia, cancer, PTSD, and depression. The CIBS Center seeks an individual to fill a full-time Clinical Research Data Specialist position. This position is a hybrid model with both remote and office setting responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with knowledge in project design and management and strong desire and ability to learn database and data visualization tools such as REDCap and Tableau. Will collaborate with statisticians, clinical staff, and investigators to fulfill database requirements using REDCap, while remaining dedicated to keeping the team informed about technological advancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, construct, and manage REDCap projects.
Ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of REDCap environments.
Learn and utilize Tableau software to craft insightful data visualizations.
Present complex data in a clear and compelling manner.
Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
Collaborate closely with statisticians.
Implement rigorous data cleaning protocols to ensure study integrity.
Keep the team informed on the latest REDCap updates and enhancements.
Facilitate smooth integration of new features into existing workflows.
Collect, organize, and evaluate data from a variety of reference sources
Develop and document reports and analyses summarizing progress, trends, and conclusions
Develop intuitive software solutions leveraging REDCap's API.
Prepare reports for analysis of research data
Assist in modification and coordination of research procedures and techniques
Develop forms and questionnaires that will collect the appropriate data
Create database files and maintain records
Assist in the preparation of materials for publication
Create informational materials related to research/study for dissemination to study participants, researchers, community
Make presentation of study concepts in group session
Presentations are conducted in a professional manner
Keep abreast of trends in field of study
Supervise Research Analyst I, technical support staff and student assistants
Plan, train, and assign work
May assist in space and facilities planning.
