We are seeking an INTERNALNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that will work collaboratively with the APP Clinical Manager and BMT Team Lead.
Position Details:
Reports to Hem/Onc APP Clinical Manager
Promotion with dedicated, flexible administrative time
Lead, mentor, and co-manage a team of 17-20 oncology APPs, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment with BMT Team Lead and APP Clinical Manager.
Provide clinical oversight, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based guidelines in oncology care.
Facilitate communication between the APP team and other medical staff, enhancing interdisciplinary coordination.
Collaborate/conduct with APP Manager performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create professional development plans for APP team members.
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new APPs.
Collaborate with department leadership to meet organizational goals, improve patient outcomes, and maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required.
BE/BC required.
ACNP, FNP, or PA certification required.
Current Hem/Onc APP at IU Health
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, complex healthcare environment.
Experience in oncology care, with a demonstrated ability and/or strong interest to lead and mentor a team.
Compensation Details:
5% increase from current salary
