Team dynamic: Managing a Team of 4 Site Coordinators
Office Location: Onsite – 3309 South Kingshighway Facility
This person will interact with: Site Coordinators, Leadership, Vendors, Contractors, and other staff
Ideal Skill Set: Organization, time management, supervision, good communication skills
Job responsibilities: Oversight and site management and development for all 4 BJC Behavioral Health buildings; Liaison and primary contact with vendors, builders, and contactors; Supervision of site coordinators.
Overview
BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.

Role Purpose
Manages all administrative and day-to-day operational activities for department. Will organize the administrative responsibilities of other employees into various functions and will be responsible for allocating resources to these functions.
Responsibilities
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Provides input and or creates effective work plans, that include, identifying the correct resources, processes, and space needed for the work unit.
Oversees and directs the work of other employees in the department, giving direction and counsel when necessary.
Coordinates administrative and support activities within the department or program.
Ensures projects are organized and executed in a consistent manner in accordance with department policies and guidelines.
