Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina is recruiting a Program Director to lead our recently established, community-based Family Medicine residency program. We are seeking a proven leader with a passion for leading a program and training the next generation of physicians.
Opportunity highlights:
Position includes Program Director, Teaching, and Clinical responsibilities
FM program has a 6/6/6 complement and dedicated faculty
Responsible for continued program development and maintenance of accreditation in adherence with ACGME requirements
Oversee the quality of education, curricula, and experiential rotations
Lead the interview, selection, and evaluation processes of residents
Provide leadership, mentoring, teaching, and administrative oversight to residents
Partner closely with hospital and medical staff to ensure effective integration within the organization

Position requirements:
Current board certification by the ABFM
3+ years of recent PD, Associate PD or core faculty experience
Demonstrated ability as a leader, educator, and clinician
History of scholarly activities/research
Membership or committee work in FM professional associations
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
