The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa

The role you’ll contribute:
The CVOR Coordinator CFA supervises, coordinates, and performs patient care delivery on assigned unit and is responsible for coordinating and planning assigned shift activities in advance to ensure standards of patient care are met. Acts as a clinical resource and role model and provides self-directed, effective services to groups of patients, physicians, and staff.

·Adheres to organizational standards for dress and professional appearance. ·Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork in managing patient flow-i.e. promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge and transfer. ·Participates in peer interviewing and peer review process.
FINANCE:
·Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on practice in the delivery of services. ·Prepares daily shift assignments, which distributes personnel equitably and appropriately to match the needs of patients with skill of departmental staff.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·High School education or equivalent ·Completion of Certified Surgical Assisting Program or have completed the requirements set by and have been certified by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assistant (NBSTA) or American Board of Surgical Assistant. (ABSA) or National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistant (NCCSA). ·Three years’ experience as a Certified First Assist in an acute care facility. ·Two years experience as a Certified First Assist in CVOR setting. ·Certified Surgical First Assistant (NBSTA or ABSA or NCCSA). ·Basic Life Support (BLS).
