Serves as data expert on the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Programs, as well as system coordinator for the Vizient Clinical Data Base (CDB) product. Requires an understanding of the information needs of an acute healthcare setting and knowledge of hospital workflow/operations and coding classifications in order to provide meaningful data for informed decision making. Responsibilities include data compilation and analysis, metric education, process evaluation and auditing, meeting management/coordination, and creation and maintenance of metric dashboards/displays for medical, clinical, and executive leadership and other committees as assigned.

- Ability to interpret specifications for the IQR Programs
- Strength in data collection, formatting, and management
- Strength in the Microsoft suite of software, especially Excel and Power BI for graphs and dashboards

Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university related to healthcare
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in working in an acute healthcare setting
Preferred:
- Comprehension of various hospital business lines
- Experience in data management, data analysis, Clinical Informatics, and/or statistical analysis
- Experience with the Vizient Clinical Database (CDB), or equivalent application
- Experience working with coding classifications (i.e. ICD-10 CM and PCS, CPT, and HCPCS)
