The role you’ll contribute:
The Epic Principal Training (Cadence/Prelude) role works with the training managers, application coordinators and application managers to develop and maintain the training program for end users.The role is responsible for communicating training policies and procedures within the EHR build for their specific team and interacting with specialty champions and change managers.
They are considered the team subject matter expert in build, decisions made, concepts and training needs for Epic end users. Their role will be embedded in their team structure, with a reporting structure up through the Director of Workforce and Provider readiness. The Epic Principal Trainers across AIT will work collaboratively to develop curriculum, training classes, setting training requirements and using an agile approach to training delivery methods.
The role will be responsible for identifying and certifying Credentialed Trainers as well as superusers at specific sites during the rollout phases.They will conduct continuing education with these roles as well as evaluate change competition and end users’ challenges.

·Developing rolebased training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications
·Designing, developing and maintaining instructional materials
·Maintaining policy and procedure documentation
·Incorporating feedback from others into existing training and training administration procedures
·Learning new content and consulting with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer any participant questions
·Assisting with building and testing of training environments, and providing support and troubleshooting issues
·Collaborating with other trainers by cofacilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises
·Preparing training lessons, printing materials, and setting up the training room and environment prior to the training session
·Presenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easytounderstand manner
·Serving as an expert educator to internal staff
·Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed
·Training staff and end users by teaching technical topics as needed
·Managing projects by adhering to timelines
·Create materials including brochures, multimedia visual aids, agendas, manuals and presentations
·Provide end users with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
·Build solid cross-functional relationships.
·Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
·Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition (i.e. experiencing time pressure, conflict, or job ambiguity).
·Evaluates effectiveness of communication strategies.
·Identifies and recommends changes to current educational programs or ideas for future ones while maintaining the AdventHealth Training Methodology
·Serves in mentoring of team during the development of curricula and instructional media
·Understands clinical workflows and works closely with both clinical application experts and hospital personnel to deliver best practice and evidence-based education
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
·Experience with Cadence/Prelude shared applications
·Experience in project planning and curriculum management.
·Experience in leading group processes and change.
·Experience with gap analysis and workflow process mapping.
·Experience and expertise in assigned area
·Ability to communicate effectively and interact with people
·Knowledge of adult learning principles
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
·PROSCI certification
·Patient Access Certification
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·Prior Training experience on large projects with adoptive techniques
·Associate of Arts Degree or equivalent
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
·Advanced Epic certification exam completion post hire
·Current licensure if applicable to application
