UNC Health Southeastern Cardiology & Cardiovascular Care seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our community-based practice of Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiologist, Cardiovascular Surgeons, and APPs.

Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.

Southeastern is proud to have a large group of medical students and 90 residents in three programs (EM, IM, FM) operating and rotating on our campus and 30+ clinics. Southeastern plans to add Fellowship programs in cardiology, critical care and sports medicine in 2025 and 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience Requirements: APP experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competency. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
