The Jamaica Plain practice is a large primary care practice with 6000 patients and 10 physicians with onsite access to multiple specialties, radiology, laboratory services and Urgent Care. The Medical Director is responsible for ensuring that excellent, high quality care is provided to our Veteran population in the Jamaica Plain Primary Care Clinic. Key responsibilities include: -Working as a member of the management team to provide oversight of practice management including direct provider supervision, operational issues and clinical performance.-Providing longitudinal care to a panel of medically complex and diverse patients. -Developing local educational initiatives for providers and trainees. -Precepting house staff and medical students. -Implementing clinical quality improvement initiatives.
