The role you’ll contribute:
The Director of Clinical Excellence and Patient Experience focuses on achieving clinical excellence utilizing a three-tiered approach: implementation of proven Performance Improvement methodology utilizing data to drive decision making, support and promotion of shared governance, and employee engagement and retention. The DCE also serves as a champion of high reliability through collaboration, communication, and promotion of staff wellbeing, engagement, and resilience. Additionally, the Director of Clinical Excellence and Patient Experience is responsible for directly leading the operations and improvement program of AH Consumer Experience for multi campuses.The director develops and implements in conjunction with the CNO strategic best practices in the most effective manner.This role provides senior level consulting and coaching to executives, middle and front line leaders in the best practices for patient experience, requiring solid knowledge of functional best practices and critical thinking related to how to best influence the field in process improvement. As a leader in implementing improvements in patient experience, this role requires a strong working knowledge of effective reporting and interpretation of survey results, along with an understanding of statistical concepts.This role works with the AHS headquarters to manage the site visit program for assigned campus(es), leveraging Press Ganey Advisor resources to provide appropriate education.

·Pathway and/or Magnet Program Director. oGap analysis to identify organizational needs for Pathway and/or Magnet Designation ·Consumer Experience Program Management Responsibilities oWorks closely with executive leaders at assigned campus to ensure that we are most effectively meeting the needs of each facility and regional progress, while creatively leveraging limited resources. ·Shared Governance Coordinator and Executive Liaison oCoordinate and facilitate Shared Governance Committee (SGC) Meetings and activities. ·Unit Based Councils and Committees Strategic Initiative and Performance Improvement Consultant ·Certified Orange Frog Facilitator: oPromote positive outcomes, increased productivity, adaptability, resilience and optimism in the workplace by utilizing and implementing Orange Frog’s positive psychology techniques.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited school of nursing upon hire. ·Bachelor’s degree in nursing upon hire ·Minimum five (5) years’ experience in leadership at the manager level or higher upon hire ·Training and/or certification in evidence-based performance improvement methodologies including rapid improvement models (e.g. PDCA) and HFACS. ·Master’s of Nursing or Master’s of Business Administration Healthcare Management ·Current active and clear FL Registered Nurse license upon hire
