Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to join its practice at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is part of HCA, the leading healthcare provider in the state, and the only facility in the area offering a PICU
6-bed PICU with an average of 425 annual admissions
15-bed pediatric floor with approximately 1,200 annual admissions
Team of Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Hospitalists
14 shifts per month, in-house from 8am - 5pm, with evening call from home
Our affiliated team of Neonatologists cover the NICU and the Newborn Nursery
State of the art equipment including CT, EKGs and MRI
Various ventilation methods, including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA, SIMV, CPAP and HFNC; as well as iNO
Services include pediatric emergency room, cardiac monitors designed specifically for children, pulmonary function testing, pediatric rehabilitation services and a child-life specialist
On-site pediatric subspecialty support includes surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthamology, otolaryngology, craniofacial/plastic surgery and anesthesia. Full complement of telehealth subspecialty support is also available.
