The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine seeks a dynamic Board Certified/Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join the Women’s Health Division at Staten Island University Hospital (Staten Island, NY).
The division offers a diverse work environment including office and hospital consultation, high-risk pregnancy management, routine and high-resolution ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and antepartum testing. Candidates must be Board Certified in both Obstetrics/Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Applicants must be New York State licensed (or license eligible) and must exhibit a passion for excellence and achievement, strong innovation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to academic medicine and patient care as well as fellow, resident, and medical student education.
We are a strong academic section in a tertiary care referral network with a busy ultrasound unit and high risk practice serving a diverse population. Staten Island University Hospital performs approximately 3,000 deliveries a year and has excellent perinatal quality measures including low C-section rates and low maternal morbidity. We have a level 3 nursery with a superb neonatology service.
