Position Responsibilities
• Oversees the preparation of regulatory and financial reporting as required and ensures compliance.
• Develops internal policies and procedures to accounting and internal control.
• Manages the preparation of budgets, forecasts and accounting activities.
• Directs the staff operations, business planning and budget development and compliance for the department.
• Coordinates the operating budget, capital budget, and strategic financial planning process.
• Provides divisional financial support to senior level executive management.
• Oversees all audit and internal control operations.
• Conducts analysis to make forecasts and reports to upper executives.
• Ensures adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Skill and Abilities
• Knowledge of Health Information Systems and General Ledger Accounting.
• Knowledge of Accounting Software, finance and accounting principles, procedures, and practices in a non-profit and profit
setting.
• Knowledge on Month-end close process.
• Knowledge of federal state and local grants regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of health center revenue cycle management.
