BJC is looking to hire a Full Time Scheduler for their Radiology Oncology department!!
Monday through Friday from 8-4:30
Training will be on site at BJC at the Commons for the first 4 weeks
No weekends
Holiday - Sunday before Thanksgiving
this role entails- speaking with patients (outbound calling), insurance verification, Scheduling, some patient registration
Ideal Candidate: Self motivator, good communicator, phone edict, call center experience, scheduling and insurance experience, and a Team player!!

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Performs a variety of clerical tasks to process patients for their radiation oncology appointments; interviews and registers patients; confirms with the patient all applicable medical insurance company information, and enters this information into the registration system.
Responsibilities
Performs registration functions.
Communicate in a professional, positive and respectful manner with patients and offices. Be able to provide consistent excellent customer service in a variety of situations.
Confirms accuracy of patient information.
Responsible for receiving high volume of incoming physician and patient calls. Scheduling patients in a timely and accurate manner using clinical and financial criteria. Provide preparation instructions for each procedure scheduled.
Contacts appropriate insurance companies for benefit verification and pre-certification of procedures. Notifies financial counselor for prepayment of uncoded services.
