Orlando Health is seeking a full-timeColorectal Surgeonattending physician for our Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute.
Applicants must be fellowship trained with Board Certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery and be eligible for licensure/work in the state of Florida. Responsibilities include in-patient and out-patient surgical and endoscopic services, in-patient and consultation service, out-patient clinics, clinical research, and training of fellows.
Ideal candidates are leaders in their field. Have a track record of education and experience with multi-disciplinary care.
The Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute is a division of the Orlando Health Cancer Institute that has an established clinical research program, an accredited Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship program and a non-accredited Minimally Invasive fellowship program. There is a robust Digestive Health Institute with a world class team of gastroenterology specialists. In addition to oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology departments. We also have a large integrative medicine department which includes cancer support community and a medical genetics team. The Cancer Institute includes divisions of surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, with a sub specialized focused on cancer care, serving the patients with our tertiary center downtown, as well as services at our 4 regional cancer institutes throughout central Florida. The cancer institute provided care to 11,000 new patients and 90,000 follow up visits last year.
Role Requirements:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery
Unrestricted FL medical license (or ability to obtain one) and DEA
