We are seeking a Provider Support Assistant to perform administrative responsibilities in support of one or more physician(s) and/or advanced provider(s).
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Patient Phone Calls through the Departments ACD Line.
Schedule and Reschedule Patient Appointments.
Manage Patient Referrals through the Right Fax System.
Submit Schedule Change Requests (SCR) within 45 days of Providers time away from clinic. Reschedule Patients that fall below the 45-day deadline.
Coordinate and Process Changes in the QGenda Clinical Scheduling System.
Peruse Providers Clinical Schedule for Overbooks and Scheduling Errors. Reschedule Patients to Decompress Clinical Schedules.
Manage Providers Outlook Calendar Including Scheduling Meetings and Resolving Scheduling Conflicts.
Submit Provider Reimbursements for Processing.
Renew Provider Licensures as well as Process Providers Meeting Registrations and Dues.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
One-year experience of clerical or general office support required.
Healthcare/medical office experience preferred but not required.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
