Position Summary

MultiCare Home Health/Hospice is seeking an Medical Director to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of the quality of care provided to patients receiving Home Health & Hospice services across the care continuum as well as providing medical leadership for clinical and business planning, medical quality assessment/assurance and continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
• Licensed in the State of Washington as a doctor of medicine or osteopathy
• Current Board Certification, required
• Hospice or Palliative Care Board Certification, preferred
• Current Pierce county Medical Society member
• Current CPR certification
• Hospice or Palliative Medicine experience required
• Current Washington state drivers license and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $233,661.00 - $336,244.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
