The role you’ll contribute:

Supervises, coordinates and plans patient care delivery. Coordinates and plans assigned shift activities to ensure standards of patient care are met.; acts as a clinical resource and role model.; conducts interviewing/hiring and performance appraisals for personnel on multiple units. May perform some patient care but this is not a majority of their daily workload.

 In the performance of delivery of patient care, The Supervisor Therapies adherers to the job description and qualification of the Therapists as follow:

 The Supervisor Therapies provides self-directed, effective therapy care to patients in accordance with Division of Physical Medicine standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (S): “1). Physical Therapist means a person who is licensed and who practices physical therapy in accordance with this chapter. 2). Occupational Therapist means a person who is licensed and who practices Occupational Therapy in accordance with this chapter. 3). Speech Therapist means a person who is licensed and who practices in accordance with this chapter”.

The observation, assessment, rehab diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; teaching and counseling of the ill, injured or infirmed.

 The supervision and teaching of other personnel in the theory and performance of any of the above acts.”

·  The Supervisor of Therapy Services supports and participates in the hospital Risk Management program and process.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

·  Graduate of an accredited University with a degree in either Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy.  
·  Current license or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement; valid BCLS or completion within 90 days of hire
