BJC HealthCare is seeking a Linen Utilization Specialist! This role works closely with various departments within our hospital system to ensure efficient coordination of linen supplies. They will visit sites to provide quality control as well as review inventory and process improvement.
This is a HYBRID role and will require the individual to visit various BJC Hospitals in the St. Louis area as well as the laundry plant 3-4 days per week.
Hours: M-F 8 AM-5 PM

Role Purpose
This position is a laundry and linen subject matter expert and a liaison between all BJC hospitals and clinics with our outsourced linen processor and linen replacement vendors. The position provides to all BJC facilities customer services, consulting, education, support and assistance. Leads, conducts and facilitates best practice process improvement linen utilization cost reductions efforts using project management tool.
Responsibilities
Collaborates, consults, plans and educates linen user?s by designing and conducting Linen Education and training as needed
Accurately and timely tracking, coding for payment, and verifying each facilities linen replacement and processing services invoices
Trains, monitors, supports and assists each facility with Vendor supplied Linen Data Management Program and Scrub Avail Management Program. Directs facilities staff on par level adjustments
Monitors and works to resolve linen quality/quantity service issues with replacement linen products, processing services and/or distribution.
Conducts and facilitates best practice process improvement linen utilization cost reductions efforts using project management tool.
