Overview: Baylor Scott & White Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive health systems in Texas, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Provider Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for providers, which could consist of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs), including nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and anesthesiologist assistants (AAs). You will help ensure the continued growth of our team and support our mission to provide exceptional, compassionate care to our patients.
As a Provider Recruiter, you will drive recruitment efforts, build talent pipelines, and develop innovative sourcing strategies. You will collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing needs and ensure an excellent candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment efforts for providers, which could include physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs), such as nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and anesthesiologist assistants (AAs).
Manage specialized recruitment activities to meet the unique needs of each search, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Develop passive candidate pipelines through networking, cold calling, online research, and creative sourcing techniques.
Build and maintain talent communities through social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Explore and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Advise hiring managers on best practices for evaluating candidates, negotiating offers, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Drive diversity and inclusion efforts by promoting diverse candidate slates and ensuring unbiased hiring practices.
Use data-driven insights, including labor market and competitor data, to enhance recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
Foster strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication at all stages of the recruitment process.
Mentor and support other team members in recruitment, providing coaching and sharing best practices.
Track and report on recruiting metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize recruitment strategies.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, recruitment standards, and organizational policies throughout the process.
Preferred:
Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle for physicians or advanced practice providers (APPs).
Proven success in sourcing and building passive talent pipelines through social media, networking, and creative sourcing strategies.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders, including hiring managers, to align on recruitment strategies.
Proficiency with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of healthcare recruitment best practices, employment laws, and hiring policies.
Analytical thinking and the ability to leverage data to make informed recruitment decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills to overcome recruitment challenges and meet organizational staffing goals.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in recruiting, ideally with at least 2 years of experience specifically in provider recruitment, with the ability to recruit either physicians or Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), but not necessarily both.
