Job Description

Nurse Leader - MSK Ambulatory Care Services

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Nurse Leader at our Ambulatory Outpatient center. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on our team and in the lives of our patients and their families.

Position Overview:

• Empower and engage the workforce while leading the delivery of exemplary Nursing Care in accordance with the mission, vision, value, and goals of MSKCC.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and promote patient safety.
• Collaborate with physician and administrative colleagues to implement all operational aspects of high-quality patient care delivery, covering ambulatory services may include the following areas:
  • Hematologic Malignancies
  • Adult Blood and Marrow Transplant
  • Thoracic
  • Head and Neck
  • Endocrine
  • Plastics
  • Infusion
• Provide cross coverage to acute care, radiology, and other ambulatory services at the Koch Center.
• Supervise Registered Nurses, and nursing support staff, as well as management of Human Resource issues, including hiring, transfers, terminations, corrective action, on-boarding, training, and development.
• Will play a pivotal role in providing transformational leadership by building and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice and patient safety.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration
• National Certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Additional Information:

• Location: MSK's Koch's Center
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday
• Reporting to the Director Nursing (Ambulatory Services)

Pay Range: $146,100.00 - $241,100.00.
