Here at Labcorp, we are looking for a Laboratory Scientist to join our experienced Ecotoxicology team at our site in Shardlow, Derbyshire.
In this role you will be supporting the Ecotoxicology department in completing aquatic and terrestrial environmental studies on behalf of our clients. The role is varied, hands-on and provides the opportunity to make a real difference working for a world-leader in Environmental research.
Duties Include:
Conducting and performing studies relating to study plan protocols using appropriate instrumentation with routine and non-routine methods
Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
Ability to write, review and revise standard SOPs related to primary area of work
Collating data and accurate data recording
Participate in QC review of selected routine data
Maintaining / upkeep of laboratory and work area
Husbandry tasks

Skills and Experience:
Ideally experienced in a CRO environment working to GLP
Proficiency with Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Organized with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Home Office licence PIL A/B advantageous
