SALARY:
$21.85 to $25.00+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU’s compensation plan. RVU’s full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities
Answer basic reference questions and specialized reference questions, seeking support and guidance from the librarians when necessary.
Act as a primary research resource for the students, faculty, and staff, by providing research assistance to patrons through answering inquiries, locating resources, and delivering information to meet research needs.
Provide proactive and friendly customer service at the circulation desk.
Assist patrons with navigation and usage of library resources, including databases, point-of-care tools, and print materials.
Administer and oversee the campus library circulation.
Review and respond to requests for electronic or print materials.
Assist in developing and presenting basic library instruction.
Develop and maintain an organized collection of print and digital resources, ensuring that materials are accessible and up-to-date.
Communicate with patrons regarding access disruptions, such as modified hours or e-resource unavailability.
Compile statistics and present reports relating to the usage of library materials and spaces.
Partner with library colleagues to develop research guides, subject-specific resources, support for academic programs and execute library programs, events, or displays.
Review and respond to technical issues that may arise with the photocopier machines, calling for vendor support when necessary.
Maintain a basic archive for the campus library.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Keep abreast of developments in library science, technology, and research methodologies to ensure the library remains a vital resource for users.
Consider the adoption of new practices, services, and tools that may increase the efficiency of access or reference services
