Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
- Level-III unit with 14 beds and an average daily census of 8-10 with approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
- Care for babies born earlier than 28 weeks and weighing less than 1,000 grams
- In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM and OB hospitalist on-site support as well
- Halifax Medical Center is involved in VON and Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Initiatives
- Join our NICU and newborn nursery team quality and evidence-based neonatal initiatives
- Schedule of 24-hour shifts

- The 24-hour emergency department includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center
- The Level-III NICU is the only one in the surrounding counties

Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
- Minimum of a masterâ™s degree
