Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Level-III unit with 14 beds and an average daily census of 8-10 with approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
Care for babies born earlier than 28 weeks and weighing less than 1,000 grams
In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM and OB hospitalist on-site support as well
Halifax Medical Center is involved in VON and Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Initiatives
Join our NICU and newborn nursery team quality and evidence-based neonatal initiatives
Schedule of 24-hour shifts

Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach is a 563-bed hospital
The 24-hour emergency department includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center
The Level-III NICU is the only one in the surrounding counties
Founded by the state legislature, it has been in operation for almost 100 years
Halifax Health provides a continuum of healthcare services through a network of organizations including hospitals, urgent care, rehabilitation, hospice, psychiatric and a preferred provider organization

Qualifications
Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
Minimum of a masterâ™s degree
