We are seeking an APP Clinical Supervisor to join our Geriatrics team at IU Health. This position will include both clinical and leadership responsibilities supporting the Geriatrics department in Indianapolis.
Schedule:
Full Time, Day Shift
8am-4:30pm
90% Clinical and 10% Administrative
Essential Functions:

Clinical Practice: Performs complete diagnostic evaluation of patients by administering the appropriate tests and measurements to determine level of impairment. Performs direct patient care services utilizing appropriate techniques and procedures as defined by the department. Develops a treatment plan based upon the evaluation, patient goals and goals established to optimize treatment and the recovery of the patients. Modifies treatment programs at regular intervals documenting patient programs and response to treatment. Provides education, training and support to patient/family to assist with treatment requirements, discharge planning and home programming. Assist team leaders with scheduling and patient triage as needed.
Communication: Demonstrates active listening and seeks further information to ensure clarity and understanding. Proactively asks for input and proactively obtains and applies the thoughts and ideas of others. Promptly Responds to requests for information and works to proactively think through next steps and anticipate potential issues, requests, or business needs.
Collaboration: Collaborates with others to identify business solutions. Actively contributes to team(s), and leads the achievement of team and departmental goals. Involves others in decision and plans, and credits them for their contributions and accomplishments.
Ethical Practice: Maintains confidentiality as appropriate, earns trust and respect of others, and exhibits behaviors that express the ethical practice of a healthcare organization. Reports and responds immediately to unethical behavior or conflicts of interest.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's Degree Required
Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience
Must be board eligible or board certified
