The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience and a broad-based background in the field of cardiac surgery. A strong commitment to quality outcomes, patient care, communication, and teamwork, along with the ability to successfully navigate through the complex field of Cardiac Surgery is critical for this position.
The Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute is a collaborative effort between over sixty cardiologists, eleven vascular surgeons, and four cardiothoracic surgeons to provide the highest level of healthcare for their patients. Our spectrum of cases includes complex valvular disease, coronary vascularization, complex aortic surgery, structural heart therapies, arrhythmia, and adult congenital surgery.
Historically our cardiothoracic surgical program has been limited to downtown Orlando and housed at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
